I’ve buka puasa at several places since puasa. Antaranya:

1) Restoran de’Chengmai (tak sure ejaannya) di Kg Melayu Sg. Buloh. Went there with my dad and my sister and her family. Nice and yummy tomyam, beautiful place, but other food bolehlaaa… Dah laaaama dah try cari tempat ni, sejak tahun lepas lagi, tahun ni baru jumpa. Mana taknya, kat ntah mana2 tiba2 ada kedai siam macam rumah orang. Challenging betul nak sampai tempat ni. Adam and my niece suka betul tempat ni sebab ada kolam ikan, ada buaian…la la la…

2) Japanese buffet Shogun at OU2. This one went with Nazri and Suez and her sister, Ros. Kenyang gile, takyah sahur. Ada tomyam, sharkfin soup, mushroom soup, sushi, and all those japanese/korean food yg aku tak makan.

3) Homst kat TTDI. It’s a Chinese Muslim restaurant, food dia memang sedap. Ada sharkfin soup, ada aiskrim goreng, ada ayam pandan etc..

4) IKEA. Semalam sampai sana before 6pm tapi mak ai, kena beratur sampai ke escalator and line tu patah balik ke arah restoran IKEA. Banyak Malay food, tapi tak enjoy sepenuhnya. Ramai orang, nak makan aiskrim pun kena beratur, nak ambik food kena beratur line panjang and diorang buka food utk diambil only at 6.45pm so ramai la yg still tengah beratur masa dah tiba waktu berbuka. Semua orang datang tu sebab nak try sekali aje, no way I’m going back again after this. Leceh…

Hari2 lain, cuma beli lauk kat pasar ramadhan and masak nasi. Sejak minggu ni memang mood nak dengar lagu raya aje, so dalam bilik ni manjang pasang lagu2 raya aje la. Bila students ketuk bilik (maklumlah diorang baru dapat balik markah assignment yg aku periksa), terpaksa la tutup ‘radio’ and layan diorang kejap. Kesian jugak yg dapat markah rendah tu, tapi teman tak dapek nak nolong sebab diorang copy from some books…

I’ll be going back to Tampin for first day of raya, then off to KB naik Air Asia. Nazri tak nak check-in his luggage sebab dia pernah hilang beg dia 2 years ago masa naik Air Asia. Kesian dia, semua menda kena beli baru, dah la susah nak cari saiz baju dia sebab besar. Asyik kena pakai kain pelikat aje la, sedangkan dia suka pakai seluar.

In case tak dapat update blog before raya, I would like to wish you all SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI semua! Minta maaf kalau ada salah silap selama ni… Jangan main mercun, main-main takpe.

Almost every year, I’ll look for my kain untuk hari raya masa convo UM. This year, I bought 2 kain raya, takdela berkenan sangat tapi malas nak meronda tempat lain. Then I sent those kain home to the tailor in KB.

However, I won’t be able to wear those baju raya this year.
Why? Because my tailor tersalah jahit my kain untuk my elder sister. Can u imagine that?!
And it’s definitely not helping that most of my present baju kurungs are all ketat now because of my ability to grow sideways despite puasa. *sigh*

Anyway, raya must go on. This year I’m going back to Negeri Sembilan for the first day of raya, then we’ll fly to KB. (’we’ = me, Nazri, Adam and my maid). Frust ler tahun ni tak dapat berpuasa kat KB langsung. I miss the food and the people there. No offence against Tampinians, tapi bazar Ramadhan kat tempat yang aku pergi tu takde apa sangat. Nak cari nangka masak kuning pun takde. Kalau kat KB, it’s like heaven for food-lovers like me. Kat tepi stadium KB nuh, ada dua separate bazar Ramadhan and banyak gila food! I’ve told this story last Ramadhan…sedapnya….

Since yesterday, Nazri & I & Adam have been going around looking for any shoes that can fit Nazri’s 11 and a half long + 4E width feet. We’ve been to P.Lal’s store last week at Jln TAR, but the price was expensive and I aku tengok kasut2 tu macam keras semacam aje…plus I don’t like the promoter guy there who keeps on staring at me for no reason, dia bengang sebab aku datang bukan nak beli kasut kot? I don’t need their shoes - but maybe my husband does. So if you guys have any suggestion on where Nazri can get big shoes for his gigantic feet, please tell me. It’s not for raya pun, but for work. Susahnya kaki besar ni…

OK teruskan berpuasa ya…hehehe

Touch ‘n Go: This glitch is costing us too much

I WOULD like to highlight the problem I face in using the Touch ’n Go card and the Smart Tag.

Recently, I reloaded my card for RM50 at a Petronas service station at Bukit Antarabangsa.

After I had used it for a few days driving from my house to my office
in Subang Jaya, my credit balance dropped from RM48 to RM4.50.

I was surprised at this sudden drop in my credit line. When I inquired
at the same service station, the staff told me that she had received a
number of complaints from customers.

I hope the Touch ’n Go authorities would look into this matter. People
use the card for convenience and not to be inconvenienced with
financial mix-ups or worse, being short-changed.

I also hope that our Transport Ministry could look into this matter as
there may well be others facing the same problem without being aware of
it.

Waktu : Bulan puasa several years ago.
Kehadiran dalam kereta : Mak, kakak2 dan adik2.
Situasi : Baru lepas shopping, nak balik rumah buka posa, tiba2 terperangkap dalam jem (’tiba-tiba’ - sebab kat Kota Bharu mana ada jem sangat biasanya)

Di radio Manis FM, selepas keluar iklan2 seperti sos cili Aminah Hassan, M.H. Mohammad dan sebagainya, azan Maghrib berkumandang. Dah masuk waktu, dah boleh buka pose. Kurma/makanan/air langsung takde dalam kereta. Semua orang frust.

Tiba-tiba, aku terpikir idea yang aku rasakan sungguh genius untuk mendapatkan pahala sunat iaitu berbuka puasa DGN SEGERA BILA MASUK WAKTU.

Asnida : OK disebabkan takde makanan, semua orang sila korek  hidung! Kira berbuka dengan segera la tuh.

Kakak sulung aku : Oi, korek hidung tu bukan berbuka la b**g*k! Itu kira memBATALkan puasa, bukannya berbuka!!!

Hmm. Tapi kenapa aku dapat A1 dalam subjek Pendidikan Islam masa SPM dulu?
Sebab diorang tak tanya soalan pasal puasa kot?

Sungguh mencabar pengalaman berpuasa tahun ini…
Maid aku tiap2 hari buat aku naik darah (tapi takleh nak marah sebab tgh puasa).
Balik kerja at 6pm at least 2 kali seminggu sebab ada kelas.
Pastu kereta2 lain pun sibuk nak balik jugak masa tu, kuar simpang buat2 tak nampak aku.
Bila nak ngelak diorang aku pulak nak teraccident, ****** betul.
Dahlah jalan universiti tu nak tutup mulai selasa ni sampai october. B***hnya, jalan tu dah sememangnya jem kalau tak ditutup, kalau dah ditutup kot mana lagi aku nak lalu??? Laagila jem!
Macam ni la kalau orang yg bagi arahan tu tak reti bahasa and sememangnya tak pose!

One day last week, after all the effort, aku sampai kat exit tol Kota Damansara at 6.50pm, masa tu terpikir "oh just nice, sempat gi beli lauk and buka puasa kat rumah".

Then, it happened.
Masa aku bersusah payah buka pintu (sebab tingkap pintu keta rosak, takde time nak gi fix) nak ‘toot’kan (sentuh) kad Touch n Go tu, screen tu tulis "Baki 31.90. Kurang 13.00" and the barrier wouldn’t go up.
Just imagine, kereta kat belakang aku bersusun2 and aku tengah tunggu orang touch n go tu datang. Lembab pulak tu mamat tuh.
Bila dia sampai dia siap tanya aku tadi exit kat mana and ada touch tak kad aku kat tempat masuk tol tadi?
Cara dia tanya tu as if aku ni bodoh sangat guna touch n go padahal baki tak cukup or stupid enough to pass an exit point without touching the card reader thing.
Aku cakap hello aku masuk through Tol Damansara which is like RM1.00 away, and my baki was like over RM30+. Pastu dia suruh aku merentas laluan exit toll tu and  deal dgn kaunter ofis dia. Terasa macam cek baru kena tendang, not to mention the danger that I had to go through to get to the office counter because i was like at the other end of the road and kena lintas at least 4-5 laluan tol sepanjang jarak cuma 20 meter secara menyereng. Nasib baik aku hidup to write this blog.

Sampai kat area parking kat kaunter tu aku nampak semua kereta parking kurang ajar, mcm parking bapak dia. So I guessed maybe other people also suffered the same thing and they were so p**ssed off they couldn’t care. Mamat kat depan aku dah terkena macam aku several times already. Tol TnGo tu salah baca kad Touch nGo dia. And now it’s happening to his SmartTag.

The ‘best’ thing is kalau jadi macam tu, ALL THE BALANCE IN YOUR TOUCH N GO WILL VANISH. GONE. HILANG. And you have to fill out this claim form, and MAYBE they will return your money within one month. Just imagine if you just reload RM500 in your Tn’Go card? In the meantime you have no choice but to reload your T’n'Go card. I chose the minimum value to be safe.

Touch n Gone… Touch your card and all your money will be gone, all of them! Arggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
