*This post contains lots of foul language which might cause discomfort and shock to nice people who don’t swear or curse out loud. Reader discretion is advised.*

Last week aku jaga exam sebab budak2 UM tgh exam now ni. Paper Law usually paper paling last habis sebab duration 2 jam 30 minit, paper budak2 fakulti lain ada yang sejam, ada yang 2 jam dah habis (budak2 law UM can surely understand this). Lepas diorang habis paper masing2, hah mulala buat bising macam dewan tu dewan atuk dia. Masa dalam exam hall itself dah start buat bising, kesian students law tgh concentrate menjawab. Dahlah bila kita suruh dia diam and bagitahu ada students lain masih tgh ambik exam, dia boleh jawab "oh, begitu ke…." dgn nada menyindir kat kita pulak, tak ke kurang ajor? Next time diorang buat camtu, I’m going to get their matrix no. and report them to J/K Disiplin pelajar. Biar ko tak grad, biar result ko kena gantung and dengan ko ko sekali kena gantung. Bodoh nak mampus, dahla biadap. And budak2 yang selalu kurang ajar and bising2 ni usually budak dari Fakulti Engineering.

Kepada budak yang kurang ajar hari tu, aku doakan ko fail paper yang ko sit hari tu. Amin.

Budak2 law ni pun satu. Dah habis time, orang suruh letak pen tu ko letak la, ni baru nak kalut2 tulis nombor matriks la pastu miss certain columns dalam buku jawapan. Macam aku tak tahu taktik kotor dan busuk korang nak buy some time, tapi aku dulu masa jadi student takde pun buat macam tu. Bila orang tegur ada pulak sorang tu yg buat muka macam bagus, padahal takdela bagus mana sebab aku tahu result dia, sorry la ya. Budak2 yang pandai pun tak berlagak macam kau, attitude dia memang deserve an F.

Anyway kepada students aku yang baca ni, ini adalah tanda korang tak study sebab korang sepatutnya busy mentelaah bukannya baca blog. Anyway Semoga Berjaya dalam peperiksaan…amin

Yin17 This is Nazrin AKA Yin.
Last week, the whole country was searching for him.
The put up posters on the street, the media reported on the search everyday.
The parents couldn’t sleep, thinking what might have happened to him and also receiving harsh, unhelpful comments from the public.

Yin and his parents are SUPER DUPER LUCKY that this story has a happy ending (at least for them). My husband’s friend told us a story not long ago, about how his friend lost his child in a mall. They eventually found the child later - about a year later to be precise. Happy ending? Not so happy - the toddler lost both hands and probably legs also if I’m not mistaken and he was forced to beg on the street. Can you imagine that happening to your child?

Writlink2Nazri is very strict when it comes to taking Adam to the mall. (Usually if it’s not necessary we just leave him at home.) Adam must wear a wrist strap if he wants to walk instead of sitting in the stroller. You see, Adam is a very naughty and playful kid; he would run and run and expect us to catch him. Sometimes he would hide among the clothing, behind the counter etc. It was all a game to him but a nightmare for Nazri and me, and my maid. Adam doesn’t like the strap but heck - what do I care! It’s better than losing him and then make the whole country search for him later.

I can stand Adam crying and throwing tantrums because he wants to be released from the strap, but what I can’t stand is the stare I get from some section of the public. I know what they are thinking - "eh apa la orang tu ikat tangan anak dia macam anjing". I’m not holding the strap like I’m walking a dog! I’m also tied to the strap at the other end. But Malaysians like to pass judgments. And oh boy they love to stare at us with that disgusted looks on their faces too!

Judge all you want, I don’t want to lose my child only to find him limbless years later begging on the street. Now people are calling me where did I get that strap from because they want to buy one.

Wristlink

I bought it at Mothercare,

not at a pet store ok!

Car-ism.

Sometimes when I stare at my old Proton Tiara, I feel like giving the car to my younger sister and just buy a new car. It surely looks like it needs a paint job. Sometimes the window (on the driver’s side) gets jammed and it’s so not funny when it’s raining cats and dogs and I’m stuck in a traffic jam. Sometimes the CD player broke down or skipped a disc or two.

My family and friends kept asking me why didn’t you just go and buy a new car?

I kept telling them I don’t want to be burdened with any monthly payment. I just don’t see the point.
My car, despite being ugly, is actually a good and reliable car. The aircond is the best part of the car (so cool), and it never broke down. The maintenance is cheap, the car is quite stable (compared to a Kancil la of course) and I don’t have to worry abour parking it anywhere at anytime because no one would want to steal it! Hahaha! I have no good reason to buy a new car. The only reason is because my present car looks ugly (but there are plenty uglier looking cars on the road, puh-lease) and people tend to discriminate you on the road because of the size, the looks and of course the costs of the car itself. Security guards will only wave at you if you are driving a BMW or a Merc. When you enter a particular place in your Proton, they get suspicious.

I tell why I’m not in a rush to buy a new car. I kept getting flashbacks in my mind. At least three things just kept coming back to me:

1. Years ago, when I was still a secondary school student in KB, I always saw this very old pakcik riding his bicycle. It was a 3-wheel bike for disabled people, and he rode it with his hands. He didn’t wear any shirt; he only wore a kain pelikat and a semutar (a piece of clothing) on his head. Everyday after school, I would sit comfortably in my car, watching him carrying bundles of haystacks on his bike. He always looks happy despite his condition. I couldn’t see him anymore nowadays, I’m not sure whether he is still alive or not.

2. Last year, I went to the market in KB to buy some stuff before returning to KL. While waiting for somebody in my car, I saw an old man across the road. He was a cripple (physically), his left leg was bent. He didn’t wear any shoes or slippers because of his condition. Can you imagine walking around the city without wearing any slippers? At that time, he was trying to climb a staircase to get to the upper side of the building, and he really struggled. He had to hold on to the parking meter and with great difficulty, he managed to climb the stairs and vanished to the other side of the building. I looked for him at the market months later when I returned to KB, but I couldn’t find him.

3. A year ago I think, I was cursing at my car because the there was something wrong with the CD player and I just wished for a new and better and bigger car etc. It was not fun being stuck in the traffic with no music to listen to. At that precise moment, a bus stopped right next to me, also stuck in the traffic jam. I looked at the bus, and I can see a lot of people in there, some of them are standing up, some of them were holding their babies and toddlers, staring outside of the bus windows. As the bus moved forward, I could only imagine the condition inside the bus -  a lot of people, people sweating, feeling very tired. How lucky I am to be able to sit comfortable in my car with my full blast aircond.

How dare I even complain.
