People wonder why do Kelantanese love to speak in Kelantan dialect whenever they see each other.
Sebab kecek kelate meme best. Senang. Lidah tak berbelit. Byk perkara yang kita boleh express dgn mudah in bahasa kelantan and it’s also a soft language, especially bila orang tua nak tegur kita kalau kita buat salah.

Adam pun suka nyanyi lagu Pencinta Wanita versi kelate - "Ambo meme suko oghe tino" dengan gitar dia. (ni memang aksi dia main gitar sambil nyanyi lagu tu.)

Papa dia selalu cakap Udahla tu! Malu den tengok!"

You know some of the Kelantanese words came from English?
For example, ‘bekwoh’ = kenduri, came from the words ‘big work’.
The words ‘tera’ = try or ‘te’h’ = test are also commonly used in Kelantan.

Kelaghing = kesat/not smooth (kulit kelaghing = skin not smooth enough)

I was telling my husband about the word ‘pe’" (pronounced as ‘pear’), which means pukul dgn menggunakan tangan, tapi bukan bantai or bergaduh. Usually parents pukul anak, they will use the word ‘pe’, pukul kat tangan ke, kat bahu ke, gitula lebih kurang.

Aku   : I rasa perkataan ‘pe’ tu datang dari word "spank" la.
Nazri : Hmm….ye kot..orang-orang Kelantan ni memang ‘kinky‘ orangnya.

….kinky??!!!!

Lepas tu aku pun ‘pe’ Nazri kuat-kuat kat belakang dia.
Rasakan. (keno pe’ sebutir ko aku)

Hubby : Huh? Kejap, hari ni 16 Julai…(pause for 2 seconds) Oh…hari ni hari…eh, bukanlah. Kenapa? Hari ni hari apa?

Me     : You seriously tak ingat?

Hubby : Ala cakap la… ada apa hari ni?

Me     : Don’t tell me you tak ingat!

Hubby: Alaaa…please tell me…hari ni hari apa? (suara dah panik)

Me     : Takpe, you pikir pastu you call I balik bila you dah ingat.

Hubby: Alaa tolong la, I bebetul tak tahu ni…

Me      : Betul you tak ingat?

Hubby: Betul

Me     : Hari ni hari ISNIN.

………

Hubby: *$%#@^&#@%&*#@%&*(%$+@!!!!

Me: Hahahahaha!

MORAL KEPADA KAUM LELAKI :
JANGAN LUPA TARIKH-TARIKH PENTING ie BIRTHDAY, ANNIVERSARY etc. Dan jgn lupa hari ni hari apa.

Aku penat sangat, so exhausted. Couldn’t sleep or eat for weeks. Hari kerja, hari weekend - sumer ada benda kena buat. Sekarang ni baru lalu sikit makan. Tido pun dah boleh sampai 4 jam straight at night.

So many things happened. I saw a car being hijacked from my bedroom window- right in front of my house, tapi kat main road la. So moral of the story - gunalah kereta Tiara sebab aku gerenti takde orang nak hijack keta aku walaupun aku parking tak kunci pintu + bukak tingkap sumer, hahaha!
Keta aku rosak by the way, rasa macam nak sepak2 aje hari tu. Dahlah rosak masa on the way nak ambik mak mertua aku, sure dia pikir aku saja nak avoid pick her up. Pastu aku kena buli. Tapi itu cerita panjang yang tak sesuai tulis dalam blog.
